I should have figured Google already had a method for this.  I’m not sure what I was thinking this morning when I was reading that Coding Horror piece. When the application wants to access data from Google, it makes a request to Google which in turns presents the user with a authorization page.  If the user accepts the authorization, Google passes a security token back to the web...
