I saw this car magnet on my way home from work last night. The magnet is an arrow with the stars & stripes on it with the text “I did my part”.
I wasn’t really sure what was meant by this. The only thing I can think of is that the driver is proclaiming that they did some sort of great patriotic duty by driving a Ford. I guess the driver can now rest on their laurels since they already did what was required by them to live in our country. Good for them.
I’m going to run out and buy a few of these to put on my car. The way I see it I already did my part by voting for Obama, driving a GM car, buying a house this year, and maybe buying a flat screen this year. I should put three (or four if I get that TV) of these car magnets on my ride. I too can let the world know that I’m not a lazy slack-ass sucking on the tit of our country. I did my part.
